About

Welcome to The Eldercare & Special Needs Law Practice of Daniel D. Munster, a firm dedicated to lighting the way for Georgians since 1999. Founded by Daniel D. Munster after four years with the Senior Citizens Law Project, our practice focuses primarily on eldercare, special needs, and traditional estate planning objectives. We understand that caring for an aging or disabled loved one can be a blessing, yet also presents complex challenges, especially when navigating the intricate criteria governing Medicaid and Veterans Administration long-term care benefits.

Our goal is to provide effective and easily understood advice, whether you are adapting your estate in a crisis or implementing a preemptive plan. While we assist with traditional estate planning matters such as Wills, Trusts, General Powers of Attorney, and Medical Directives, a significant portion of our cases involve helping clients protect their assets through strategic Medicaid planning and Veterans Aid & Attendance planning. We guide clients through understanding and pursuing legal steps to trigger Medicaid qualification before resources are exhausted, utilizing permissible gifts, trusts, and reallocation of assets.

Mr. Munster brings extensive experience, having spent his twenty-seven-year career practicing Elder Law exclusively. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a “Best Law Firm,” and consistently listed among Best Lawyers in America, SuperLawyers®, and Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent®. Our Atlanta office serves clients across the entire state of Georgia, with virtual meetings via Zoom readily available to accommodate distance challenges. We are committed to a streamlined approach, ensuring that Mr. Munster personally handles all aspects of your case. We look forward to assisting you and your family with all your eldercare and special needs planning questions.
