Bishop, the firm has a rich history rooted in the Brunswick legal community. Mr. Bishop began his practice alongside Anthony A. Alaimo, who later became a distinguished U.S. District Court Judge. Following Judge Alaimo's appointment, Mr. Bishop continued his practice with A. Blenn Taylor, Jr., until Mr. Taylor's appointment to the Superior Court bench.

Since then, James A. Bishop has continuously maintained a general practice of law, earning the highest "AV" rating in the Martindale Hubbell Directory and a listing in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, signifying his exceptional legal ability and ethical standards.

In 1996, James "Jimmy" A. Bishop, Jr., joined his father, bringing a renewed focus and expertise to the firm. While The Bishop Law Firm maintains a comprehensive general practice, Jimmy Bishop has primarily concentrated on real estate law. His extensive experience covers a wide array of real estate matters, including:
